PT 8/25

Today I worked on equal distribution my legs, more jumping, and fast feet with lateral footwork. I was dripping in sweat and it was a great workout. I need to work on letting my knees bend over my feet to absorb more of my landing but I'm improving day by day. Video is in my gallery! Mentally I'm doing better with jumping and don't have such a blockage. Seeing the sports psychologist has really helped with that and I'm grateful for the resources that Sports Medicine at Mayo has for me! I couldn't imagine being where I am without their constant effort and availability to get me the resources I need. After pt, I went to practice and did some serve and pass. I used to be a middle for my school team so the stigma of middles can't pass kind of surrounds me but I can say because I couldn't hit for so long my passing has really improved. I've always had a tough serve but from the open gyms in the summer and at practices so far I have been able to work on my confidence and accuracy; you can really see a difference!

tryouts 11/18
